Another thing that you can expect to see is a new glow from the Washington Commanders. This is going to be the first season that they won’t be distracted with their horrible ownership. With a new group coming in, including Magic Johnson, this team can just focus on football from now on. They got a great opening matchup at home against the Arizona Cardinals, and a win, this could give the fans some major excitement about a new culture being brought in. A culture that involves winning and football.
No Longer Mr. Rogers Neighborhood
Also, the Green Bay Packers had an impressive opening week. It seems like a lot of people out there have forgotten how much talent still remains on this squad. Yes, Rodgers isn’t the quarterback anymore. But they do have Jordan Love, a guy who’s learned and waited patiently behind Rodgers for the past few seasons now. Love appears to be performing just as well as the preseason, this means the Packers could actually be scary good over in a wide-open division.
Can Chicago Go the Distance
Sticking around in that same division, the Chicago Bears will be a fun football team to watch. Justin Fields will once again prove how electric he can be when he takes off running the football. However, he’ll be even scarier with what is expected to be improved passing accuracy thanks to the team bringing him a number one wide receiver in DJ Moore. Chicago also improved on the other side of the ball, signing two of the best linebackers available and filling a couple more holes across the roster in free agency.
